Designers (and especially optimizers) are often working on new creative ideas in an attempt to “beat the control”… Some of these ideas never get off the brainstorming table, but they are still great representations of a designers aesthetic and creative thinking.
Such is the case with these marketing email examples for the Virgin Wines Explorers Club. Designed as part of a brainstorming exercise, they might not have ever hit the testing table, but are still nice creative examples of some “out of the box” thinking.
